IT’S ME, HI

Hi, I am Kristina McMullin (she/her), welcome!! I am a Toronto-based creative producer, academic researcher, speaker, designer, and arts administrator with a drive to build spaces and experiences that make my community feel seen, desired, and valued.

I held a research position at Cripping Masculinity, you can learn more about that here. I am the Communications Manager at Akimbo, work with IOTA on a variety of projects and exhibitions, and served as an Action Learning Facilitator for Sync Leadership, you can learn more about those roles
here.

I host and produce Crip Times Podcast, and, you guessed it, you can learn more about that here. Previously, I managed the Communications at Tangled Art + Disability, you’ll find my work with Tangled throughout this entire site.

I’ve had the ability, and pleasure, to build a speaking and facilitation practice that supports organizations to holistically build capacity for access in operations, specifically production and communications. Some of these organizations are Orchestras Canada, Kickstart Arts, Museum of Toronto, Musagetees ArtsEverywhere Festival, The British Council of Canada, Flux Factory, and more, you can find the full list here

My intentions are to be generous to humans; to tell the truth in a way that is invitational; to prioritize the humanity of cultural spaces; to insist on joy; to hold space for imperfect processes; to learn from mistakes; to commit to do better; to build a practice of love; and most importantly, make time for Raptors basketball.

What a former boss said about me, a decade after we worked together.
